Tea Tree Oil’s Function for Sinus Infection

Sinusitis is inflammation, or swelling, of the tissue lining the sinuses. It can also become blocked by tumors or growths that are near the sinus openings. You can treat a sinus infection naturally at home. Herbs that stimulate the immune system and reduce inflammation, in addition to tea tree oil, eucalyptus and licorice root are good herbal remedies for sinus infection as well.

Symptoms of sinus infection in children involve a long-lasting cold, low-grade fever, fatigue, fussiness, nasal congestion, cough, mouth breathing due to stuffed nose, drainage of yellow-green mucus, and post-nasal drip and so on. Eventually, the sinus cavities become blocked, making it harder for your body to heal the infection. When the basic function of life - the ability to take breathe properly - is compromised, it can make you feel quite desperate. Winter is here and for some people it is means a great time outdoors skiing, snow-boarding or just rolling in the soft snow. Sinus infection treatments like nasal irrigation and vapor inhalation can help relieve the sinus pressure and nasal drainage. Researchers say that the condiment aids blood flow to sinus cavities, helping to drain clogged sinuses and heal infections quickly.

Tea tree oil is toxic when taken by mouth, but is widely used in low concentrations in cosmetics and skin washes. And there is some scientific research that suggests anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitic properties of oregano oil. The concentrations of tea tree oil used in studies have varied depending on the medical condition; because tea tree oil is an unproven treatment, there is no established dose.

Tea tree oil was also employed to protect food from bacteria for a long time. On the other hand, while tea tree oil is often used as a diaper rash solution, infants with sensitive skin are more susceptible to skin rashes and may not benefit from tea tree oil. When tea tree oil is consumed, immediate medica l attention is necessary; also when it is combined with other medications that cause dryness in the skin.

Herbal Remedies for Acne----Neem

I was fourteen years old this year and I had already suffered from the acne for one year. In this period, I got more jibes from people. In this case, I used to feel upset at first, finally I hadn’t ignored these jibes. Later, I found that my classmate also had acne on her face as well. For fighting with acne, I did more. Fortunately for me, I heard of that the neem is herbal remedies for acne from one of my relations. As a result, the neem was useful for me. Neem is an herb in its own category. I consider it a super-herb.

In India, neem is known as “the village pharmacy” because of its healing versatility, and it has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for more than 4,000 years due to its medicinal properties. The neem tree is a very tall evergreen tree that is related to mahogany and native to India and other parts of Southeast Asia. Neem tree now grown in many locations and its ability to grow quickly has been suggested as a possible solution for heavily deforested areas, because the tree’s ability to thrive in tropical or arid (desert) climates.

Neem has the reputation of having a very repulsive odour which is the sole reason it has not been popular even within the herbal community. Neem oil is extracted from the seeds of the neem tree and has insecticidal and medicinal properties, because which it has been used for thousands of years in pest control, cosmetics, medicines and so on. Neem seed cake when used for soil amendment or added to soil not only enriches the soil with organic matter but also lowers nitrogen losses by inhibiting nitrification. Neem leaves are used to treat chickenpox and warts by directly applying to the skin in a paste form or by bathing in water with neem leaves. Neem extracts have been found to be spermicidal and thus research is being conducted to use neem extracts for making contraceptives. Neem bark and roots also have medicinal properties.

In addition to be good herbal remedies for acne, neem also has anti-bacterial properties that help in fighting against skin infections such as psoriasis, scabies, eczema and so on.
